Change To Local Services Ads (LSA) Dashboard

Lead Dispute Option Gone?

Google’s Local Services Ads (LSA) dashboard seems to be undergoing a significant update. The ability to dispute a lead is being replaced with a “Rate This Lead” feature. This new function empowers businesses to quickly provide feedback on lead quality, streamlining the process and enhancing overall user experience. This new update doesn’t appear to be universally implemented yet, but the LSA team at 99 Calls has noticed it.

Here’s how the “rate this lead” works.

Once you click on “Rate this lead”,

Lead summary header showing Rate this lead button in upper right

you are prompted the following options:

Lead quality satisfaction survey with five options ranging from very satisfied to very dissatisfied

If the lead meets your expectations, and you are very satisfied, and you select it, the next step is to select one of the following options:

Follow-up question asking why satisfied with the lead, showing options like converted customer or relevant to services

If the lead wasn’t an actual lead, or is of poor quality and you are very dissatisfied, the next step is to select one of the following options:

Follow-up question asking why not satisfied with the lead, showing options like spam, duplicate, or wrong service area

Finally, once you’ve completed the selections, you’ll see this screen:

Feedback confirmation screen thanking user and offering resources about lead quality improvement

This new update helps Google understand which leads qualify as high-quality leads versus poor quality leads, which will result in more high-quality leads.
